Upper dash removal does anyone have information?

Upper dash removal does anyone have information?
Does anyone know how to remove only the very top part of the dashboard nearest the windshield? I need to take it off to refinish it, anyone who has instructions would be great.

I’ve taken mine out, comes out all together, you can separate them once the dash is out, impossible in the car.
