Do any of the facelift models have native wired or wireless android auto?

I'd like to buy one of the final years of the C217, but cannot find definitive information online as to whether any of those S560s (2019-2021) work with wired or wireless Android auto, or if you need to install some aftermarket solution. Can anyone clarify for me?

The Facelifted S-class, C217 and A217 cars after 2018 have wired Carplay and Android Auto built in. Same system offered on the G-Class until 2024. You can purchase a wireless adapter for $50. My 2019 Telematics work flawlessly with Carplay but I have not tested Android Auto. I believe the 2018 telematics still used the older 3G transmitters and was updated to LTE 4G in 2019 so go with 2019 and newer if you want OTA map updates and remote app control.

Thank you for the information. I assume a 2020 would be the most desirable year due to being close to the end of the model run, and before covid lockdowns made factory work during 2020 and the resulting 2021 model years having more issues?

Everything 2019 and later model had the newer 4G/LTE telematics that continue to update maps and software OTA just like the 2019-2024 G-class. 2021 had limited availability of some options due to the Covid Computer Chip shortage but no issues as far as I am aware.

The 2018 S models also have wired Android Auto. I use an adapter to make it wireless. Not sure about Carplay.
