Front diff leak reseal cost?

Front diff leak reseal cost?
My dealer found that the front differential is leaking and wants to charge $7,200 to reseal it. My third-party warranty is willing to cover about half of that. It sounds like a labor-intensive job but I couldn't find much online about it.
Does anyone have any further info on the resealing job so that I can figure out what a reasonable labor time is?

Gaskets are cheap, the Genuine Mercedes-Benz Part for the cover is only about $250.

In this case, the warranty people might have a point. Thanks to Trenton's numbers (really appreciated), I have more context: it's a left-sided leak (13.4 hours). Warranty company will pay 13.1 hours, dealer is quoting 22 hours (and confirmed that the right side is fine). My SA will talk to the tech working on the car tomorrow to see where the big discrepancy comes from.
