I'am new here so please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong forum. I was looking at one of these for sale localy and am going to be taking it for a test drive tomorow and to my mechanic to be checked out. He knows mercedes very well and the car's owner said hes had some things done to it and has recipts for these things its an 83' with 190,000 miles the asking price is $3,500. From what he told me hes had the transmission re built,the AC compressor replaced and the tires and brake system are all brand new again he says he going to bring me the recipts to see tomorow would this be a good daily driver thanks.

if well maintained.. it still runs like new.. just inspect all the gaskets, wiring...and replace all filters and fluids after u purchase
