Should the 300SE orange disk on my 1990 300SE's light switch illiminate when the fog lights are on (i.e. switch is pulled out)? Currently it does not and there is no notification of any kind in the car when the fog lights are on, which is surprising.

Bought the car used last year and I'm not sure if there's a bulb behind the orange disk that's out. Just want confirmation.

Hmmm...I've never notice any indication on the cluster. I just noticed the road was brighter on the sides for sure.

Mine doesn't light up either..........

the orange light is for the rear fog

you can see when the front fogs are on, so there is no need for an indicator.
