newbie question...

hi, guys,
i'm new at this forum!
i'm from germany and drive a 1985 MB 420 SEL, nice car so far...
my question is this:
i need new camshafts for my V8, and believe it or not the price for these parts (and quite a lot of other parts) is much cheaper in the U.S. than here in "good old Europe" don't ask me why ! but maybe you knew that already.
only problem: are they fitting in my EURO specs Benz?
does the U.S.-version of the 420 have the same cams or do they differ in lift duration/timing etc ? Mercedes OEM part numbers are 117 051 0801 and 117 051 0901, here in Germany as well as in the U.S. , so far so good or is there a rub in it ?
thanks a lot,
hub'
