My roadtrip to CA

I just got back from visiting CA. The 560 is a beast to drive on the interstates. We took the southern route thru OK, NM, TX, AZ the CA. We'er there for a few days, then headed back the same way. Unfortunately, somewhere we got gas was low quality and somehow it clot the cat convertor. The car stopped running when we were 600 miles from home. Imagining have to pay $1,400 to tow it?? A quick call to my mech and he found a MB shop he knew in Tulsa, OK. The car was towed there with AAA flatbed tow truck. Since I am a AAA plus so towing 40 miles was free. I rented a van to drive back because my son has to go to school. Plus they didn't have the part until today. Now it is fixed and I will have to drive back to return the van and drive the beast back.

Yes, but the guy in Tulsa, OK is not comfortable to do that. So, I guess I drive it back and then remove it later. My local mech would do it.
