$15K (or maybe less) 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC

Here's a link to a nice looking 560 SEC, with a 'Buy it Now' price of $15k; seller also has the 'Make Offer' feature.

Any one here maybe familar and personally know the history on this one?

Thanks!

380se
I bought an '85 380se on ebay with 83k on it called a creampuff. The title says actual miles but my mechanic says that dude was rolled, tumbled, turned and who knows what else. Visually very good condition but has turned out to be a mechanical disaster. just be very careful when buying cars on ebay, see if they will take it to a local dealer, they'll usually do a purchase checkover for 125$ or so and then you know what you are getting. Offer to pay, so you are out a couple hundred, better than being out 15 grand with 10 more in repairs.

Good information, and I agree. The biggest problem regarding vehicle Internet is you can't really see or drive it, and that can sure leave the door wide-open as to the two different view points on the actual condition. I've been looking for some time but most SEC's tend to be out of state... buying semi-local would be great, just not many listed in my area.
