transmission went out, now what?
Hey everyone, my transmission went out on my 85 500 sel. So now what do I do with it? Nobody wants to buy a car with a messed up transmission. What should I do so I can get the maximum gain? Thanks!

Either sell the car or rebuild/replace the transmission. I do not know what other options you are looking for. If the rest of the car is in great condition someone may buy it.
