rough when cold and other probs :( this car is driving me nuts!
hi, can anyone suggest what i should check and how?
im assuming its something to do with the auto choke or a sensor??
also, sometimes the rev counter seems to think i'm reving twice as much as i really am and then it seems to hit the limiter too early.
how do i get to the sensor on the gear box that senses when im in park?
the other day the engine temp went quickly and crazily up to 110 on the motor way and then went back to normal... no signs of mayo in oil or water, no trouble since... faulty gages??

It sounds like you are having some electrical problems. Some of the rouhs running when cold can be due to temperature sensors being bad, but since you car seems to have electrical issues, I would check the grounding and check for shorting in the electronics before replacing parts that may be working properly.
