Nose Conversion

Hey everyone,

I'm considering to buy a W126 sel, but I was wondering if a conversion to a SEC nose has ever been done. I'm sure it IS possible because everything is, as long as you put enough cash in it. But I would like to know if it's a bolt on conversion or a huge project.

Oma.

I have seen it before. Good luck if you decide to do it. SEC hoods ain't cheap!

It's been done lots of times, both as personal projects and by tuning companies in the eighties

To get it 100% right, I believe you need to change the hood, front fenders, headlights and the chrome insert on the front bumper
Though not all of that is necessary to do the job, only to make it look proper

Personally I think it makes the sedan look a little boring and I'd rather see the 'flashier' front of a sedan fitted to an SEC
