hi all i have a 91 560 sel the local tire shop tells me i need to replace my strut rod bushings as when ya touch the breaks the wheels travel slightly anyone have any idea what mercedes calls the part ,spent an hr on internet tryn to order some new ones thanx in advance
ok think i figured out what they where refering to mercedes calls it a guide rod ,anyone replace the bushing or install a repair kit in one of these before thanks

It is normal maintenance.
Check your independent service guy for a price. A regular tire shop is not where I'd want to be with what you are looking at to be done.
You can buy complete new units or press out the old bushings and ball joint, if they are not out of round..
Have had this done even on low mileage w and c 126's/cars.
