I have had too many negative experiences with non-OEM brake parts, OEM on both for me.

1991 420SEL & 300E, 2003 BMW X5, 2001 740iL all on DUBS
I have Brembo rotors and calipers all around on my 1991 420SEL not sure what brand the pads are but i know they are semi-metalic so i dont get to much brake dust on my rims. Not sure if Brembo is worth the money the car stops on the dime but it cost me a pretty penny

Hi Dave
I had considered the power slotted or and drilled rotors. What are you running on your SEL?
Are they noisy or crate any chatter or vibration?

I was looking for a little better stopping and of course less brake dust, but don't want to suffer any change in the feel of the brakes, if you know what I mean.

If you not busy tomorrow there is a meet in Philly area.

Bruce , I am running stock rotors and pads.I just had the car in for service and my guy just did the brakes with stock components-I didn't even know he was doing the brakes. If I would have known,I would have went with the powerslots and I would have had the stainless lines installed also.I am busy today-and my C43 still isn't back yet,so I'll have to catch you guys next time.

Skip the drilled rotors. Most develop cracks when used severely.. Slotted are the way to go.
