I've followed your build with interest; like you said it is your personal taste and it reflects good in the car. Been looking for a 500SE for a while; but my personal taste is not on the side of the AMG kit or paint all chrome look. So; how much would you sell the car for without the AMG kit and AMG tire/wheels combo. I have my own set of rare Penta style Conchis I've been saving for a 500SE. By the way I'm not a newbie: own 420SE euro with a set of rare options and a lowered suspension 500SEL euro with Lorinser spoilers that in my taste I like better than AMG.
I dig the Lorinser kit more myself, I went with AMG because it was already there and easier to add on to the existing motif.
I would go $3000 without the wheels. As far as the kit, without already having a buyer in place, Id hate to remove it.
Would be better for you financially to find a stock 500SE euro and start from there, unless you have the time and desire to part the kit out yourself.
