Fuel Distributor
I have a 1990 560 SEL with a misfire.
(Passenger Side 3rd Cylinder from the front)
There is no fuel leaving the port on the fuel distributor that supplies the injector for that particular cylinder.
The other ports on the fuel distributor are fine.
Any tips on what I should do next?
Thanks

Quite a few:)
they're not terribly user serviceable.. Did you pop the line w/ the car running? You might also try jumpering the fuel pump relay and depress the air flow plate, see if fuel comes out of the suspect port...
If that doesn't work, CIS Flowtech make the dist. of choice..I can help you source one FWIW.

Thanks for the reply. I did pull the line out of the top of the fuel distributor while the car was running, and no fuel was coming out of the port.
I was about to take the top off the fuel distributor to see if there is a passage I can clean out, but I wanted to check online first.
How would jumpering the fuel pump relay make a difference? I am getting fuel out of the 7 other ports. And when you say "air flow plate" do you mean the big round disc that opens to let the air in?
Thanks!

Yes, I'm aware. I'm just telling you the actual procedure for verifying that it Does Not Work.
Yes, the air flow plate is the big round disc..
I would Not fiddle about in the FD w/o knowing what you're doing.
