I bought my parents a '91 420SEL to use while they spend their winters in Florida. That was about two years ago. They came down here and hated Florida, and they are not going to be back for any extended period. How much do you think I can get for it? It is metallic black with palomino interior, 79k carfax-documented miles, new tires and battery, a/c is cold, heat is hot, upholstery looks amazing (even the driver's side outer seat bolster), booklets and brochures, and it is equipped with a professionally-installled (and factory looking) navigation system with 8-disc changer and sirius/xm radio - all built in to the dash. Any ideas what i should be asking? i understand the economy isn't so hot right now for older gas-powered mercedes.

go look at www.kbb.com, www.edmunds.com, and www.nadaguides.com. Be honest about the condition, meaning, an average car is usually in pretty good condition. Choose selling on all three sites. Whatever the lowest price out of the three is, that's probably what you'll get.
