Replacement Windshield Seal
I have a 1987 560 SEL. Im having a problem with rain leaking into the front seat under the dash. The seal between the bottom of the windshield and the air inlet covers is falling apart and I'm suspecting this where the water is getting into the car. The part number is A 126 831 23 98. I can't find this part anywhere, dealers, repair shops or online search. Any suggestions? It's item 23 on the attached PDF.

Dont know if you still need help on this but water will quite often be getting in in the corners under the plastic cowling which covers the wiper motor . If you take the cowling off then look in thye corners where the drain tubes are ,put your hand up under windsceen and if the problem is there you will feel rust/rust holes .
Bit of a difficult fix unfortunately

Hi, I wanted to order this part (A 126 831 23 98) and MB doesn't supply it anymore. Is there another option? Anyone solved this?

If you are in the USA, I suggest searching local salvage yards for a good used.
Your water leak is more likely caused by debris plugging:
* MB# 1269970181
* MB# 1268320594
* MB# 1268320694
FYI on the W126 chassis there are two condensate drain hoses.
This is a common failure - leak...
They are biodegradable foam with a stiffening spring inside.
Do not bother trying to get the MB part, all modern rubber hoses have better quality and durability.
