heating system

I am trying to get info on the same problem. However, i do not have heat on either side. I do not understand the climate control system at all. I guess it is because i have never owned a car with a climate control system. I am used to being able to select the vent I want. I do not know which button to press to actually be in the correct mode to ge the floor heat to enable. I have however removed the button panel and replaced all the lights with leds and cleaned all the contacts and now the buttons are readable at night 
I also did the power window buttons. I bought a vacuum tester tonight and last night rebuilt one of the fresh/cabin air dampers with a bicycle innertube (it worked btw). I know I have vaccum to the solenoid bank but I dont know where to go from here.

the heater core is divided by left & right side. check if other side have heat.
the lower flap can go, so inly heat comes out is windshield vent & or face level.
the mono jet valve can be plugged so no hot water pass thru at all.
U can get new one or toss it out, it has a brass screen if plug nothing will get thru.
