Just got a 300sd turbo diesel
Just got a 300sd turbo diesel 81. I like it and hoping to do an intercooler setup. If you have any info on that please hook me up.
Also I have a question on how the turbo works? Is that a waste gat on it is it vaccum like the powerstoke diesel?

Ok alternator question
When I start the diesel up the light for the alternator stays on. If I rev it the light goes out. While driving the lights dim then get bright. Then when I stop at a light sometimes the alternate light flashes then sometimes stays on until I rev the engine.
Bad alternator or glow plug relay?

Check your charging system. There is a brush pack that is replacable do some searching on this sight or Mercedesshop.com.
