86 560SEL engine quits
I have started experiencing a rather disturbing problem. When I am cruising on the freeway the engine will suddenly quit. I pull over put it in park and it will start right up.

Any ideas?

A bad fuel pump? or the relay? Check the fuel pump relay to see if it is in working order.

thank you. I just replaced the relay and we shall see, since this is an intermitent problem.

hey buddy i had the same problem---can't say it will work but get some new cheap plugs in there!--the cheaper the better-
