Rear diff fill plug wont budge-

Hi all-

I need help with my '89 rear diff- Need to get the lube changed out, but the fill plug won't budge with big 1/2 drive wrench & allen socket. The allen fits perfectly.
I know the housing is a alloy but don't know if it's magnesium, if magnesium then I can't heat with too much heat---- anyone had the same problem?
What would work to get this fill plug loose?

Thanks!

spray penetrating oil and slowly wrench it out with slight tapping on the back of the range to act as an impact

make sure not to over do it or introduce excessive force or you might regred and break more parts in doing so.

Thanks for all replies. Took it to Mercedes of Salem Oregon, they took care of it along with other repairs. Went fantastic, that is a great service center- I highly recommend them.
