Hey guys, this is my first post here :3 ![Newbie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/newbie.gif)
Im looking into buying a 1986 300SDL, with 213k miles on it. The car looks good on the outside (as far as i can tell), but i havent had much of a chance to look at the car in daylight because it's sitting in the back of a sea container right now. We're pulling it out on the weekend, (its my friend's grandpa's, he had about 30 1980's benz's shipped up here to canada from the states) and i was wondering if you guys can help me.
I know very little about the older Benz's
and i figured, who would know the most about them? You guys right? ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
So what should i look for? Like, where should i look around in the engine bay and on the car to tell if its a good buy or not?
I really appreciate the help,
Jake
