Is this a real AMG W126? Thinking about buying
Ran across this 1986 420 SEL Mercedes. It has AMG body panels, AMG badge, AMG wheels (chrome with matching blue accents inside the wheel), and AMG gauges. Is this a factory AMG car? Is there anyway to tell for certain. What is the vehicle worth. I am thinking about buying it. It has 99,000 on the gauge, has some very minor clear coat peeling, interior rips on the bolster and some cracks on the dash. NO rust as it was a florida car at one time. If anybody has any insight, I would really appreciate it!

There is no 420SEL that is a AMG. It just has all of the accessories. Basically what you have is a 126 body with AMG upgrades. Not a bad thing at all. 100k miles and decent condition and maintained should be worth like $4,000 or so.

VIN is KEY ... Run the VIN number; AMG will show ... or not ... Lotta "Operators" out here ... we USED t'beat 'em up for LYING ... but I'm "Old" now ... so I hire ...
