Shock replacement
Shock replacement
I've worked on cars here and there and am mechanically inclined. I have access to a coil spring compressor, jacks and stands. How difficult in regards to access and possible special tools required to replace worn shocks, front and back on a 1987 420 sel. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks
First for "shocks" this is for no Hydro.
The backs are easy, you take out the back seat, remove a plastic plug and you can get to the top nut on the shock. The bottom is accessible from under the car. On the fronts the top nut is visible in the engine compartment and the bottom is self evident.
