Kickdown button?

Where is the kickdown button in the 560SEC because it wasn't working last week. It would stay in second gear when i floored it.

its behind the gas pedal. You should be able to see it straight away if you have a look under there. Its a round switch and has a nice little carrier that holds it in place, there is also a cut out in the carpet for it. Sometimes it can get dislodged from its housing... take a peak.

kickdown switch

vdubpower,

the kickdown switch makes the transmission shift to the lowest available gear as indicated by the hash marks on the speedo.

It used to work! I'd be going slowly and then floor it, it would shift down to 1st. Now it doesn't work!
