Thats just a plain stupid thing to say. If you're not going to help, just don't bother posting anything at all.
bigdogjim, the tach amp is common to have a poor connection in it's cap. Remove the amp from its cap and put a piece of 1/8" thick foam on top of the amp to help keep it seated in it's socket.
