Blower speed and temperature not working correctly

Blower speed and temperature not working correctly
Hi,
I am new to this forum, and tried searching everywhere regarding my problem, but with no luck.
I have to apologize in advance, as I am not a mechanic and understand basic stuff regarding repairing cars.
I own a 1987 420SE, and have a following problem: blower speed at position 1 is reacting as if in position 2. So at position off - it actually turns off, and position 1, blower's speed is as if position 2, at position 2 blower's speed is also as if at position 2 (I hope it makes sense).
Second problem temperature setting seems not to work - always blows hot at feet, windscreen and rear passengers, but cold towards face.
I checked and even tried substituting switches, but doesnt help.
Is it Klima relay or something else?
