I dunno, my mom used my old 420 SEL to carry almost all the materials (except for plywood sheets which were delivered) to renovate 4 rooms and a garage a couple years ago. The pickup version would have been great.
My mom is picky when it comes to materials, and home depot and similar places didn't have delivery services like today.

Realy great.
In Germany we have something named "Technical Inspection Agency" . So, we will have a problem to convert a car like you did.

I've even seen Buick and Oldsmobile sedans from the 60s and 70s 'converted into pickup trucks.
At least this one looks like a more professional job was done.
