a/c module - a/c not working

a/c module - a/c not working
hi
i have a 1990 300 se, excellent car with everything working except the a/c keeps burning the fuse in the summer time, everywhere i take it they say its either hoses leaking or the a/c controller in the dash, but a mechanic said its the module in the engine compartment, the one that also runs the fuel injection. would anyone know of a module for sale used so i can try it out or a new one thats available. thanks joe

The module to which you are referring might be the compressor cut-out control. called the "Klima." It shuts-off the compressor if it labors (low engine speed, seized compressor, slipping belt).
Did you take the car to a MB mechanic? Corner garages don't know jack about MB!

yes it has been taken to a mercedes dealer, and that was the concensous of two different dealers. so i am still looking for a used module thanks
