I am looking some help or info regarding removing the reanmission and install new main or crank seal, is there anything i should know before start working on it? I hve pulled engine and tranny before several times with ither car doing first time for SL500, if anyone have workshop manual or service manual that would be gr8 help. Thanks in advance.

If you have an '04 you need to be in the R230 section.
These cars are quite easy to pull a transmission on, a rear main is not bad at all.
