Throttle / engine probz 260SE
My wifes father just bought 260SE'1987. All went fine until this morning when he washed his car first time. (~2 days of the deal) The problem is the following - suddenly you are not able to bring revs up whatever throttle position you choose, as well the MPG-meter shows the maximum or even over-scale value.
I guess the vacuum system, or fuel delivery lines (as they were seen very rusted) could be involved. But I, as a SAAB driver could not tell much about MB....
Hmm, after restarting engine all seems to be fine....
Please give me some ideas of what it could be?!?
