Dear All,
My 126 is 380 since 1981 and 293 k km- 183 k miles.
I recently changed gas filter and tank connectors. After 50 km on highway, I noticed that the gas gauge was red corresponding to maximum. I drove 550 km on average 25-30 l/100 km 10 MPG.
Could you advice on what is wrong, please!
Yours,
Jean K

It smells like unburned gas. But it was present before change of gas filter and ignition adjustment and his high mpg even more then now. There is the white plastic knob regulating the air income just in front air filter. I need to keep it open more then half- 740- 850 rpm, other wise the engine stops when I drive it from stand still.Originally Posted by Plutoe

Another guess is that the unburned gas return tubes are somehow blocked. I am going to blow air on this circuit with tank cap open and hear if any bubbles...
Thks for your concern and advice.
Yours Sincerely,
