High Idle on 380SE

I need some help here. I have a 380SE and I am far from being comfortable working on it yet. Ford, Chevy, etc, I’m fine, but I am definitely out of my element here.

Recently the car has started to idle very high (~1700 RPMS). I’m not really sure why. It literally belonged to a little old lady and she just didn’t drive it much (’84 with 106000 miles). I’m been driving it pretty hard so I’m guessing I blew some of the crud out of it. Anyway can anyone tell me if there is a simple idle adjustment? I’ve seen the multiple adjustments to the throttle linkage, but that’s not the problem. I really think it’s just getting too much fuel at idle. Any advice would be appreciated.

shop can't diagnose it either...

Well the shop just called and said they can't diagnose it either. I guess it's off off to an import $expert$.

Did you ever find out the cause of the high idle. I have a 380 SEL with the same problem, its been in storage forever, ran fine for a day or so and then started the same symptoms.
