Thunder, here is a picture of a Euro shift gate and a data sheet. Yes my mechanic did peddle my US engine and allowed some credit for this in the overall transaction.
I did have my mechanic install the frist gear start module, but it wasn't a big job I had them do it when they swapped out the shift gate. You could easily do the procedure and the Bergwerks people are very helpful.
Ray, my euro engine is a factory built Euro 5.6l with very low miles. I purchased it from my mechanic, he is originally from Germany, his brother owns and operates a Mercedes salvage yard in Phoenix, so they have the proper connections. As I stated he purchased two Euro Engines one for my car and one for his. I believe his should be completed by now as well.

I actually did the shopping for your Euro engine myself... I found 4 of them and we bought all 4. I had one in my car, sold it to Jim Rothrock on mbcoupes.com after I put my 6.0 in, Edis, his mechanic has one, he (Kenny) has one, and you got the 4th. I have sort of a side business in tracking down these motors if people are interested and the price would be similar to what 560300 paid for his block. The buyer needs to add the downpipes like 560300 did to optimize the exhaust flow. The Euro exhaust manifolds come with the motor usually. Kenny is actually from Bulgaria.

I was wondering if you monitor this forum. I can say I am extremely pleased with the way my car runs and performs you did a great job.
Has Kenny completed his engine swap? Last I spoke to him his euro headers were at Jet Hot Coating.

He has his manifolds back from Jet Hot. He plans to order the downpipes very soon. He is a stickler and perfectionist as you know so I think he plans on taking half the motor apart and making sure everything is perfect before he fires it up. The motors had between 55-70K Km's on them so they should be in tip top shape. Glad to hear you like your setup. Any plans on a rear muffler? I think the stock one flows fine but it would be a nice final touch to your car.

you mentioned above about the rubber shims. What do they do and where can I get em? Also, what type of hydraulic fluid did you get to replace?

The part sits a top the coil spring between the spring and the body. They are available in three different sizes one two and three nib. If you reach in the front wheel well, at the top of the coil spring you will feel the rubber cup. You can feel the nibs of the side of the rubber spring shim/cup, these tell you how thick the shim portion of the cup is.
The part is simply a circular rubber pad with about a one and a half inch lip around the circumference at a right angle to the circular pad.
The part is used to level the car before the car leaves the factory. Say you have a slight lean on your car, to the drivers side. You can order the next size up coil spring cup and level the car out perfectly.
In addition say you have installed the lowering springs and your car came with the single nib shim cup (lowest/ thinnest pad) and you experience a slight tire rub, you replace the shim cup with the next size up and solve the issue.
I use only the Mercedes hydraulic fluid in my self leveling system you can buy it from performance or the dealer and replace it as per the manual.
Try Rusty MB Parts http://parts.mbz.org. I did a quick check they show a part number of L5005-72927 Rear Coil Spring Shim. they have it listed $6.14.
I believe I bought some at the dealer for around ten dollars each.

I don't have any at the moment but I'll call my "guys" to see if I can locate any in the homeland. Not positive on price yet but should be similar to 560300's pricing posted on this thread, minus the install of course. It depends on what we can score them for.

Here are two images of my lowered SEC.
I purchased the springs from Howbar Motorsports at a very good price around $275 for the.
H&R Sport Spring part numbers are 52759 with self leveling system and 29559 without self leveling system.
I retained the hyraulic leveling system using the 52759. I am very satisfied with the modification. This is a great handling improvement.
