Engine starts then dies
There could be a bad fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel accumulator, I hope not, but internally leaking fuel distributor, EHA going bad (do you smell fuel while driving?)
Before you take it to a mechanic, try forcing fuel pump to do 2-3 may be 4 cycles to send fuel to the engine in the morning. Turn on the ignition (do not run the engine) and listen for fuel pump `s little buzzing for 1-2 seconds, then turn ignition back to 0 and do this again for 2-3 times then run the car.
You need to understand the system before people start changing parts. Sometimes you have to, but "which one" needs a good mechanic.
I`d suggest you watch/subscribe/make little donations these channel and videos. All kinds of engine problems are covered. Don't be like me, be patient, watch and take notes. It is complex but not a rocket science. If I can understand, you can, too.
Then you will have an idea and maybe work with your mechanic.
