Last night, a vandal smashed the front passenger window of my 1981 300SD. Thankfully, there was nothing valuable in the car, but they threw everything in the car out into the street 
. I made a claim with my insurance (USAA) and they connected me with SafeLite, who said they might not be able to find a replacement window.
I'd really appreciate any tips on where I could source a new window. Should I try to find a replacement in a local scrapyard (for 1981-1985 W126 300SD)? I've also looked online and found a part that looks right: https://mbzparts.com/mercedes-door-w...ht-w126-sedan/
I'm in Washington, DC, so I'd also be grateful for any leads you might have in the area for sourcing a replacement or getting help with the repair.
