Should I get this 560SEC?
Was looking in the newpaper this moring and saw 1989 560SEC with 87k forsale. So I call the guy and the car was still forsale and he was asking $13,000 for it. The car looks good just a few little thing wrong with it, mostly just needs a good cleaning and seems to drive and runs great. Carfax checks out ok but the owner says the car has been in a low speed accident that does not show up on the Carfax. I still need to get the car check out by a mechanic if I buy it. I told the guy I did not want to pay more than the bluebook, that is about $10,000 he seem ok with that.

You can find a list of things to check out at mbcoupes.com. I bought a 1991 with 62k 3 years ago. Reduced the asking price by cost of needed repairs, and I have been driving it ever since. Love it.
