560sec wheels and tires
anyone have any experience with any wheel and tire combo bigger than 17 x 8.5 with 245/40/17 rubber. i'd like to increase tire contact patch but without modifying the fender lips, thanks

I run 245/40-18 Pliot Sport all around on a lowered SEC without any further modifications. My mechanic runs the staggered set up as Blown V8 on a lowered car, I have noticed a slight rub on the rear inner upper wheel well with the wider rear tires, very slight and only under hard acceleration.

AMG may have released larger rims but I haven't come across any.
These wheel sizes listed above fit the 116, 107, 123 and 126 models.

The 5 spoke 'Penta' AMG wheels from the 70s to mid 80s came in 16x8 ET11, 17x8 ET11 and I believe 16x7.5 ET17. The later 'Aero I' (look like Monoblocks) from mid 80s onwards came in those sizes as well as higher offsets for newer models.
AMG may have released larger rims but I haven't come across any.

advice needed
i did see , you installed 245 in the front and 275 in the rear
1. did you have any issues
2. did you do any upgrades in the suspension to accommodate the tires ?
