Stock w126 speakers?
In my 85 380 SE I still have the stock speakers for the fronts but everywhere else was changed and new deck aswell. For the age of the front speakers they still sound good.
Was just wondering what company makes them? Bose?

I owned a 1985 380SE for 17 years! Loved it! As I recall, the original system (which I never replaced) was by Becker, and it was still working just fine when I sold the car in January of 2003. I assume the speakers were the same. They weren't Bose.

1987 300SDL aka the "Money Pit"
I used a mid range set of little Pioneer speakers. I had to cut the dash ever so slightly but it is hidden by the covers so no one will ever know! They sound better but you can only get so much sound out of 4 speakers. I am thinking about adding a set of door speakers like the later W126's had.
