Hi to Benz family.... I got a 1989 560SEL with ONLY 80k miles. It drives fine in beginning, shifts good and all, BUT THEN once the car warmed up it STOP shifting. At the end gear stays in one gear. Do I need transmission service or bad transmission or certain parts need to replace ?

Appreciate for any inputs.

seems like the shift plate is the issue on warming up. Fluid change with correct D3 type fluid and filter should be a starting point on diagnosis
