1996 AMG Mercedes S600 Coupe
W140
I am 43 years young, and own a Black with Tan interior, 96 S600 AMG Coupe. It has 20 inch chrome wheels, and a nice flip out head unit. The automobile rides great, but may need to address rear suspension issues. Anyone ever have any work done on the type of cars suspension? I have noticed that not a lot of people in this form actually own a W140, especially not a coupe.
If does have this car, I would like to touch base to compare car issues.

i own a 1997 S600 and 1997 S320..along with a non-w140..a 2001 CLK55. all 3 of them are fun cars.
Flash, sorry i dont know..the onyl issues i had with rear suspension was my shocks needed replacement and that was it. hope you solv eyour problem!

bought first MB in 1999 when i was 34...600SL.
been through about 5 of them since...i hope to keep my 1995 E320 cabriolet until my 2 yr old son graduates from college.

1994 S320 (W140)
Im 24 and got my S320 last year when I was 23 before I purchased my benz I had a busted up corolla for 3 years. You can imagine what it felt like leapn from a hoopty to a benz. These cars are a ton of fun to have. You know every inch of a mile you put on these cars is an unique experience!

1) 1993 S600 V12 Silver Now it has been in the family for (14years) from new.
2) 1993 850ci BMW Black V12 again (14years)
took the MB from dad in 1996.
and the Bmw in 1998.
They r my tresures never gonna get rid of them

I'm 55, have a '97 S500, bought it from a nephew who is 39, when his wife inherited an '86 560SEL with 35,000 miles on it.
I love the S500, except I have to replace the catalytic converters, not looking forward to the repair bill.

41yo and first Benz
Just picked up my first Benz (97 S500 Sedan w/ 74k) about a month ago. I've always been a fan of larger luxury cars, mostly Lincolns, but I got a heck of a deal on this MB and couldn't turn it down. So far, so good.

I'm 53 and got my first Benz at 27. It was/is a 1973 280c yellow with a dark green painted roof and green leather!
Ah time has been tough on it, but the rusting part it does quite well.
