How Old are we w140 Owners???
Benzworld made a thread like this a while back,and i thought it would be fun to find out how old some of us MBWORLD guys are(and yes i know some are members of both...traiders :p )
im 26 now.....24 when when i got my s500
19 years old when i had my 1st benz a 82 380se...green aswell!!

54 now, bought the '98 S600 in 2000 (it was still worth $$ then). I have owned more MB vehicles than I can remember... I doubt I will ever sell this one though.

My first Benz was a '83 190e fun but small.
bought my '
'96 S320 a year ago & love it - I have had only small normal maint issues. Brakes, door strap & A/C fan speed relay.
Want a smaller SLK type next.

1997 Owned a 190E, loved it and drove it for 2 years until I blew one of the pistons out and damaged the engine big time. The car was pristine so I had the engine rebuilt at £2250. Drove it for 4,000 miles then wrote it off in a head on collision with a E300.
1999 380SE loved it and probably why I stayed with big cars
2000 300E (w124) Real workhorse
2003 280 S (w140) Like a magic carpet but lacks power.
2005 Looking for a S500..........

Got my first W140 at 44 and my second at 47. Put a deposit on what will be my third W140 today two months shy of 50.
These are (one of) the greatest cars DB ever built.

Was 30 when I had my W140. Best Benz sedan ever, and I have had a lot of them!

1. 2001 C-240 6 speed in 2000 (sold it)
2. 2005 E320cdi in 2004 (still have)
3. 1998 S500 last week (waiting for it to be shipped to me)
