??? Mass Air flow
I have a check eng light that came on. I had the Shop I go to check the codes and they said its the Mass Air Flow sencer. They cleared it & I went about 3 weeks before it came on again. Had it cleared , same about 2-3 weeks. so if it is the MAF it work and the fails.. Can the MAF be cleaned or repaired etc? Anyone, anyone.....

I have followed experiences of people who have cleaned MAF's a couple of times with success, then eventually, cleaning no longer works. They simply go bad with time and use and will require replacement. Try a no residue electrical contact cleaner spray.

Could be the insulation on the wiring going bad and causing shorts. Read this...

Gentelmen, Thank you. At the cost of a new MAF - I think I'll try the Elect. cleaner first.

Cleaning the Mass air unit with Elect cleaner seems to have worked so far. If that was my problem the check eng light has not come back on. Once again thank you.
