Keys for S500
Only have 1 key and need more. The infered key is all that is left and it is broken.
The guys ex wife took a hammer to them and was getting ready to go after the car next.
THis is a dealer Item I guess. Any clue as to how much? I have been waiting for 6 months for my Rolls key.

I should almost be free in Florida or S.C. LOLThank you for the info. I just got keys made for the Porsche $12.00 for the balnk and $15.00 to get it cut. Maybe I should have been a locksmith?

The Dealer will require you to bring in proof of ownership. Registration etc. When I got a set I was told aftermarket keys are generally made of cheep brass that can slowly wear down messing up your switch. Freind who is locksmith said this is true but would take a long time in his opinion. Just FYI

For the remote key it was about $150 when I checked a few months ago.
You can get the non remote keys made for like $20..What about the alarm on the later W140's? Can you even start them with a standard key?
MB keys are steel so if you go aftermarket don't get brass.
They are also laser cut and usually take 2-3 days to show up, sometimes faster.

I am headed to my other house for Easter in Florida. I will stop at Brumos in Jacksonville and get the keys, sheep skins, mats, wiper blades, K&N filters and see what else they have I can not live without.
As anybody tried to order them from MBUSA direct?

Just waked in from Florida. Brumos is getting me the keys for $135.00 and $30.00 for the regular. Got some other things like a License plate frame and wiper blades.
