Question Factory Sub Removal

I need some help!

I have a 92' 300se, with the factory bose 11-speaker setup, that I would like to take apart.

- first order of business -

Just wanted to know if anyone knew how to safely remove the 4 subs that are in the rear location behind the seats/in the trunk? I plan on placing them in a different car, and have replacements that I want to put where these are, but don't want to have to pay to get it done.

Any links or DIY guides would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Mr. Benzito:

If you carefully remove the top grilles inside the cabin, you'll see four screws holding each bass driver in place on the rear deck. Simply unscrew them, then go back inside the trunk and unplug the connectors to each speaker. Now go back inside the cabin and carefully pull the bass drivers up and out of their positions. You'll need to pull slightly forward to clear the rear glass, and the deck with bend slightly, but the speakers will come out.

Good luck!

Just be aware that those speakers are 2 ohm wired in series, the rest are 4 ohm
