v12 badge
Not a very important issue, but just out of curiosity 
. If I see various "600" cars, the V12 badge is located in slightly different positions. Normally, I assume, it should be at the end of the silver edge that goes below the windows (that is what I call "an original one"). But in some cases it is just, let say, half inch higher, or even significantly higher. Does it mean that the car was "refurbished" after an accident, or the factory was changing the location year by year, or even dropped it at certain stage and the owner has just added the badge? Any ideas?

Usually they are in line with the wondow but they may have changed them from year to year. I have seen a S500 with the V12 and "s600" on teh back so some owners put them on.
