94 S320 Instrument Panel lights Going Out
Has anyone had their dash board lights go out. the only lights on the instrument panel that are on are the speedometor, and gas pressure guage. The back light to the fuel guage, my clock and the rpm guage went out. Basically the whole right side is out, until I tap on the instrument panel they come on but as the days go by its gone from a tiny tap with the tip of my knuckle to a full thrash with my fist. Dont want it to get to the point where I end up putting my arm through it. Besides its really embarassing on a date!
Is there anyway I can I fix this? Doing it my self would be plus!

Bulb Cluster Replacment
Thanks MB 500, I wonder if anyone has ever attempted to do this their selves. Also it would be nice if I can find a diagram on how to do this.

Check the post above by pcmaher, it can't get much better than that. I have to do the same thing but still need to get the tool.

If your cluster isn't too tight within the dash, you may be able to get it out without the tools. You just might be able to push it out from behind once the vent is removed.

Aaronguy * This weekend I ordered the tools on ebay. $25 including shipping. There are several on ebay. My opinion - better to use tool than to crack the cover or something.
for what its worth
