Rough Idle
I've had my car for over a year now its a 94 s320 and just last week I noticed all of a sudden my rpms, and oil pressure gauge going up an down at a stop light. Note I was using my car from early that morning till 9pm when I noticed this. Now 4 days later the rough Idleing start up when Its in park in the morning starting up and at stop lights. What could this be, I mean I would like to fix it myself but I wont touch it untile I have to hear what yall gotta say!
Thanks again!

Two Ideas, one would be the fuel presure sensor. Its on the front right side of the engine. Pull the vac.Hose and smell for gas. If it has a gas smell or you can actually see moisture of gas, its bad. I have also seen them seep fuel around the center enough you can see it.
The other could be the idle kick up for when the AC is on. It boosts the idle to compansate for the extra drag coused by the AC Pump.
*** Do you get a check engine light?

Yes the check engine light is on but it has been on for months before this started happening. Also, the rough idleing goes on even when my A/C is off. Now there is rough idleing and the gas pedal is not as sensitive anymore. It seems I have to push down on it more to get power sometimes; the car will even give a struggling shake as if its wanting to cut off. However these problems only go on when I am stopped or accelerating out a stop. I'm gonna replace the fuel sensor but anymore ideas....

Wait until you change the Fuel Pressure Regulator ( about$91 ) and you may want to change the fuel filter as well ( $16 ). This really sounds like a fuel issue. Low cost fix if you do it yourself. Get ahold of code reader and find out any codes that are making the check light come on. That will tell you a lot. Clear the codes to reset everything.
