Euro-spec Trunk Warning Triangle
I set to do this mod more than 6 months ago. So after having sourced all the parts more than 4months ago, finally decided to install the trunk triangle in my W140. Job took an hour to do. Here are a few pics

Warndrieke!!
I have one of those also in my w126, (used) by an e-friend who got it at a Berlin junkyard for me.
They are required by law in Germany, and on the W126/W140 cars for the USA, unfortunately, the DOT disapproved those very aesthetically pleasing and useful safety accessories.
A very few euro-delivery customers of US spec cars were able to bring them back as carry on luggage to the USA to put on their new cars, I believe; but most customers were deprived of them.
I especially like how they can be put to use either with the trunk popped or removed and set up on the road.
With this and the euro fender blinkers, you have a very carefully, easily and tastefully modified euro like car. Great job!! I like how you think!!
