1995 S320 and 1995 S500
ABS and ETS warning light on
Help if you can. Both the ABS and the ETS light came on, on Friday. They are continuously on while driving. What does it mean? Manual say consult your Dealer.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Do
your brake lights work?Bad brake light switch is often the cause of those warnings.Also if your battery falls below a certain voltage it can trigger those warnings

Bad brake light switch
How does one check the brake light switch. Where is it. I am not but can do somethings or take it to my mechanic.

I had the breake light switch changed. IT still has no lights and the dashboard still has the ABS and ETS lights on. Any suggestions

Problem solved..THIRD brake light!
The third brake light that was sold to me by the Mecerdes dealership was the incorrect one. This is in the area above the trunk behind the rear seats. The contacts were different. Went back.. got the right light and voila! all fixed.
go figure!
